“IB MYP” dasturi

Oxbridge International School is growing rapidly along with the MYP program. In the fall of 2020, the school began the MYP program and became a candidate school. With just over 30 students in MYP 1-4, the school has been able to continue preparing teachers and students for MYP. In 2021, the school added MYP 5 and almost doubled the number of students. Thanks to the hard work of the MYP team, the school received MYP authorization in June 2022.

Oxbridge International School.

The MYP program requires the study of eight groups of subjects: language and literature, a second language, people and society, science, mathematics, design, physical education and art. Each of these disciplines supports not only content knowledge but also the development of skills that help students improve their communication, research, thinking, communication, and self-management skills. The MYP curriculum focuses on the practical application of knowledge and skills, guiding students to reflect on themselves, their context, and the world around them. The program challenges students to become academically independent, think critically and explore, and learn to collaborate.
A unique feature of the MYP program is the personal project that MYP 5 students develop at the end of the program. This project allows students to explore and develop skills in their area of interest. MYP also focuses on community service education through a variety of school-wide activities. 21st century skills are strengthened in the classroom and extracurricular activities such as Model UN, product design, video editing and filming, international cooking, and multilingual and speaking clubs.
